Name: Claire Bennet

Fandom: Heroes

Physical Description: Claire is short and petite, only barely reaching over the height of five foot one. She has long blond hair, green eyes and a slender, somewhat athletic build. Because of her age, she looks young but then again, she's always going to look young because of her ability. She is pretty in her own way and usually has a quick smile.

Background: Claire was born to Nathan Petrelli and Meredith Gordon, two people possessing abilities. Noah Bennet and his partner, Claude, who are agents of the Company, arrive at Meredith's house to study her and her ability until she blows the door open and Noah finds Claire and carries her out safely. Noah and his wife, Sandra, later adopt her. In the graphic novel "Elle's First Assignment", which takes place before the series begins, Bob gives Elle her first assignment, which is to track and follow Claire, posing as a student at Union Wells High School. Elle is reluctant, but Bob informs her that Claire is important to the Company and that her blood may become important. Claire never realizes that Elle is following her.

Six months prior to the start of the series, Claire had just become a cheerleader at her high school, with the help of her friend Jackie Wilcox. During a playful dispute with Jackie, Claire crashes into a glass case cutting her hand. When they show Claire's parents, Mrs. Bennet says that Claire might need stitches. After Claire, Jackie, and Mrs. Bennet leave for the hospital, the phone rings and Mr. Bennet answers. It is Chandra Suresh, a scientist who studies paranormal phenomenon, informing him of Claire's power.

Several days later, Mr. Bennet asks if he can see her hand with the stitches. When they unravel the cloth around her hand they are both surprised to see not even a small scratch. Mr. Bennet remarks, "Well, that healed nicely."

Powers

Claire exhibits the power of rapid cell regeneration, a trait that allows her to recover from almost any injury in a matter of seconds. She also feels relatively little pain from even serious injuries, including burns and compound fractures, although she did grimace when her hand was damaged while retrieving a class ring from a running garbage disposal. She has not yet reached a limitation in her powers. Along with the injuries stated above, she suffered an injury where her neck was broken and turned around 180 degrees. This would be fatal for most humans. Indeed, between her tolerance for pain and seemingly unlimited healing potential, Claire is somewhat similar to the X-Men character Wolverine.

Apparently, Claire cannot heal an injury if a foreign object is obstructing the wound. This is true of other characters with healing factors, who can still heal incorrectly, incompletely or not at all if certain conditions are not met, just like normal humans. For example, in the first episode, the bones of Claire's ribs were sticking out at one point. After a comment from Zach brought this to her attention, Claire had to move them around a bit before they would heal properly. The injury she received in One Giant Leap was billed by a TV Guide article as an extreme test of her powers. In this incident, she was clinically dead for hours, only to revive when the tree branch that killed her was removed. Her healing powers restored her to health despite the destructive biological processes that happen to bodies immediately upon severe trauma or death (brain death, lividity of blood in the tissues and coagulation of same, et al.) Still, as stated before, there were still limitations. Her upper torso had still been spread open from the classic "V-Cut" made in the chest of autopsy subjects and she had to close the flaps of skin back into place manually before they healed.

Choices Verse: Claire is starting from the end of the second season, where Noah comes back after being killed by Mohinder and tells his family that he's made a deal to keep the family safe. Believing her father to be captured and held captive, Claire decides to take down the Company anyhow even though her father asked her not to. So she travels to New York after talking to Adam Monroe, Nathan and Peter where she starts interacting with more of the Heroes group. While trying to reconnect with the ones that she had known before, like the Petrellis. She's also still struggling with what is going on with her father as well as the idea of taking down the Company. While staying in New York, she grows closer to Adam Monroe and Hiro Nakamura, constantly finding out secrets that seem to keep changing her life.

Eden Verse: Claire is in the

recreating_eden where the virus has been dropped a year before and 99.99% of the world population has been killed. She spent a year traveling around curing people with her blood before deciding to return back home.

Canon Verse: This verse will be for Claire and the events that happen through the third season of Heroes. So yes, its technically the canon stuff for her but I already have the one verse named canon. So if you are looking for the new season stuff, look for this verse.

Don't Rightly Die: Taking place in 2517, this verse is a pan-fandom RPG where Heroes, Alias, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Highlander and fantasy are blended together. Claire is now known as Claire Moirae, a spaceship pilot. The connections are all the same as the Choices!verse, just set in the future. But there is one difference, Claire hasn't seen Hiro for nearly 400 years since he disappeared one day without warning.

Family Ties: Angela never married Arthur Petrelli but instead, she married Adam Monroe. They had Nathan who then had Claire later on with Meredith Gordon. At first Nathan ran from his responsibilities but then was forced to face them; he had shared custody of Claire till Meredith "died" in a fire and then he took sole custody of Claire when she was about three years old. They are not Petrellis but rather, they are all Monroes. The Haitian is also Christophe and was raised by Angela and Adam after they adopted him as a child.

Indestructible: Claire is with Cain Callahan (

fear_noevil) and she is struggling with his job as a Watcher and a demon hunter. Well, they are both struggling because she believes she should be able to help him but he won't let her. The PSL is a mix of the Heroes and Buffy fandom.

Beyond The Rift: Claire comes from the end of Season 3: Fugitives. She was pulled through the Rift into Chicago where she is struggling with being a Wanderer as well as the fact that there are demons and angels running around. It's a pan-fandom game taking place at

beyondtherift.
